Control Room Solutions – Detailed Overview

Command. Coordinate. Control.

Video Wall Displays

High-resolution video walls are the heart of the control room’s visual interface. They enable operators to monitor live CCTV feeds, maps, status dashboards, and alert systems simultaneously. Technologies used include LED panels, LCD screens, and ultra-narrow bezel displays.
Typical configurations support 4K resolution or higher, with modular setups ranging from 2×2 to 8×4 matrices. Integration with VMS allows real-time stream switching, zooming, and event highlighting.

Operator Workstations

Workstations are designed for 24/7 operation, offering ergonomic seating, multiple display configurations (typically 2–4 monitors per station), and secure login with role-based access. Each operator interface is optimized for rapid response, with multi-tasking capabilities that include video playback, alarm response, and reporting tools.

Integrated VMS Platforms

Video Management Systems (VMS) serve as the core software layer, integrating CCTV streams, analytics, incident tracking, and user permissions. They allow centralized recording management, camera health diagnostics, and AI-driven search (e.g., face or object detection across timelines). VMS platforms can be deployed on-premise or in hybrid cloud environments.

Incident & Alarm Management System

This module consolidates all system alerts—motion detection, unauthorized access, sensor triggers—into a central dashboard. Operators can tag, acknowledge, escalate, or resolve incidents within defined workflows. Integration with VMS allows event-linked video snapshots and logs, enhancing audit trails and accountability.

Audio-Visual (AV) Communication Tools

Includes internal intercom systems, emergency broadcasting, VoIP integrations, and unified communication platforms. These tools enable real-time coordination with field personnel, remote teams, or emergency responders. High-clarity microphones, PTZ camera feeds, and touchscreen command boards are often used.

Redundant Power & Network Systems

Mission-critical control rooms require UPS systems, backup generators, and redundant network paths to prevent downtime. Typical setups include dual power supplies, smart PDU monitoring, and automatic failover switching for both power and internet connectivity. Environmental controls (cooling, humidity) are also essential.

Environmental & Access Control

Access to the control room is managed via biometric readers (fingerprint, facial), RFID cards, and multi-layered authentication. Environmental monitoring includes temperature, smoke, water leak detection, and automated HVAC control. All systems are integrated into a centralized BMS (Building Management System).
